Mainly from medico－social aspects, early exposure and training of the clinical practice is required in the Japan. We are facing many problems；semester system, small group teaching, and new internship system etc and OSCE is going to be invol … ved in the National Examination very soon. The core curriculum will be introduced in coming years. It will be more difficult to cope with these issues with small number of the staff compared to that in the USA, and a drastic change in the mind seem to be required to both staff and the students.
