WHOで働いた後で本学に15年在籍し, 高齢者へのインフルエンザワクチン接種事業, 新型インフルエンザやRSウイルスなどの疫学, 抗インフルエンザ薬の効果と耐性ウイルスの疫学と新たな機序の研究を行った. 地図情報システム (GIS) も医療分野に日本で最初に本格的に導入し, 国内外での調査により, その有用性と提示してきた. インフルエンザにおいてはベトナム, ミャンマーでの仕事, 国際保健活動においては長期の調査・研究をザンビアで行った. さらには, 多くの博士課程社会人入学者の調査・研究から, 公衆衛生学の幅広さとダイナミックさに触れ, 今後の本分野の発展が大いに期待できることも確信した.

of the Northeast urban areas in the Republic of China and the measure which has taken by the Mukden government is analyzed. After the founding of the municipal government, in order to achieve the peace and happiness in the Northeast region, the local civilian official of Mukden began to develop municipal infrastructure. Unfortunately, because of complex internal unrest, Tso-lin Chang was absorbed in unjust militaristic policy, which brought deficit financial and political instability for the Northeast. The effect of the militaristic policy was the plan of water service in Mukden could not be practice in the 1920's. Especially, because of the Manchurian Incident, the dream of Chinese people to construct the water service by themselves has been broken. Although the plan of water ultimately could not been realized in the 1920', but we can still sense that the local civilian official in Mukden, for example Yong-jiang Wang and Den-xin Li made great efforts in this period.
