概要: In the isolated endothelium-removed rabbit aorta (RA) precontracted with phenylephrine, 15 min treatment with methylene blue (15 min-MB) resulted in a rightward shift of the dose-response curve (DRC) for nitroglycerin (NTG) and nitric oxide (NO), while DRC for NaNO_2, sodium nitroprusside (SNP) and atriopeptin (ANP) was not affected. DRC for SNP was not affected in the dog coronary artery (DCA) (endothelium-removed and precontracted with KCl), while DRC for SNP was shifted to the right in the rat and guinea pig aorta. The relaxation by SNP or NaNO_2 was attenuated after 60 min-MB in RA but not in DCA. The relaxation by ANP was not affected after 60-min MB. While increases in tissue cyclic GMP in RA by NTG and NO were attenuated after 15 min-MB, the increases by SNP, NaNO_2 and ANP were not affected even after 60 min-MB. The relaxant effects of 8-Br cyclic GMP were not attenuated after 60 min-MB. Thus, the inhibition by MB of relaxation by SNP and NaNO_2 was due to its action on a process or processes operative before and/or in parallel with the accumulation of cyclic GMP. Species differences in the penetrability of MB were suggested. 続きを見る

概要: Clinicopathological characteristics of type C hepatitis were investigated, and the following conclusion was drawn: 1. Ac ute hepatitis: in about half of patients with acute type C hepatitis, the course was prolonged and the condition developed into chronic hepatitis. With the evolution of the chronic condition, histological findings of chronic hepatitis, i.e., fibrosis and cell infiltration of the portal tract, began to appear about 6 months after onset of acute type C hepatitis. 2. Chronic hepatitis: Chronic type C hepatitis progressed more slowly than chronic type B hepatitis in many patients. The peritoneoscopical findings of many patients included coarse changes on the liver surface, such as localized hemorrhagic fleck-like reddish markings and undulations. Furthermore, several patients showed marked differences in changes on the liver surface between sites. 3. Liver cirrhosis: The site-related differences in changes on the liver surface were more marked in type C than in type B liver cirrhosis, as in chronic hepatitis, and regeneration tended to be poor in cases with type C. 4. Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC): The number of patients with type C HCC, at which the liver surface is relatively smooth and no liver cirrhosis has been established, was larger than in type B patients. 続きを見る
